The tournament’s main favourite is Iga Świątek. Besides her, we will see other titled tennis players and professionals on hard surfaces. With No. 2, we will see Marie Bouzková, who has been in the Top 30 WTA ranking since last year. Behind them are the tennis players from China: Lin Zhu at her personal best and Shuai Zhang – the champion of the Australian Open 2019 and US Open 2021 in doubles.

The leading Czech tennis players will also play in Warsaw – the finalist of Roland Garros 2019 and Olympic vice-champion from Tokyo, Markéta Vondroušová and the rising star of world tennis, 18-year-old Linda Nosková. She reached the finals in Adelaide, defeating, among others, Daria Kasatkina, Victoria Azarenka and Ons Jabeur, but finally lost to Aryna Sabalenka. Fans worldwide are also following the development of another 18-year-old Czech player, Linda Fruhvirtova, who played, among others, in the 4th round of the Australian Open this year. Everything indicates that this is only the beginning of her Grand Slam achievements.

Kateřina Siniaková has been one of the best doubles players in recent years. She is the current leader of the ranking and a winner of all Grand Slam tournaments. Apart from her, on Legia Tenis & Golf courts, we will see, e.g., Lesia Tsurenko, Tatjana Maria, Ajla Tomljanović and Wang Xinyu – the winner of Roland Garros 2023 in doubles.

The list of players in the doubles tournament will be announced two weeks before the BNP Paribas Warsaw Open starts. 16 pairs will compete for victory.
